My name is Brad Smith. I am a law professor at Capital University, where I teach election law, administrative law, jurisprudence, and law and economics.
I live in the Village of Granville, Ohio, approximately 35 miles east of Columbus, Ohio, with my wife Julie. Our older daughter, her husband and out two grandkids live a short distance away, while my youngest attends college in Michigan. At home we enjoy the company of three dogs of our own, plus the many dogs who pass through as part of my wife’s business. Our two horses live on a farm a short distance from the Village. I started this blog to reflect periodically about life in Granville, and the issues facing Granville and, often, most or all of small town America.
